Bensalem Township to Hold FREE Electronic Collection Event May 5, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


Bensalem Township is excited to announce they will be holding a FREE Electronic Collection Event on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building conveniently located at 2400 Byberry Road in Bensalem. Residents are encouraged to bring “anything with a plug” including their obsolete computers, CRT monitors, cameras, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, printers, TV’s, computer mice, wires and keyboards. Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also permitted to participate in this event.

Whole Foods Market, in partnership with eForce Compliance, is offering a FREE “anything with a plug” recycling event to be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at their Jenkintown store located at 1575 The Fairway. All types of electronics will be accepted for FREE including computers, monitors, printers, air-conditioners, computer accessories and household appliances. Small businesses with less than 50 employees may also participate.

All types of electronics will be accepted for FREE including computers, monitors, printers, air-conditioners, computer accessories and household appliances. State Representative Milne and the East Whiteland Police Department to Hold Shredding, Electronic Recycling and National Drug Take-back Recycling Even

State Representative Milne and the East Whiteland Police Department are proud to announce there will be a Shredding, Electronic Recycling and National Drug Take-back Recycling Event on April 28 From 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the Penn State Campus in Great Valley located at 30 Swedesford Road in Malvern.

This special event will feature paper shredding, recycling of “anything with a plug” electronic devices including computers, printers, small appliances, air-conditioners and much more. There will also be recycling of old, faded flags and prescription and non-prescription expired or unused drugs. There will be no needles or epi-pens accepted. Small businesses with less than 50 employees can participate in the “anything with a plug” portion of the event.

Spring Clean Out! Celebrate Earth Day with Green in Chestnut Hill on April 21, 2012!

Empty out your basement and garage of all those old electronic items you didn’t know what to do with. Bring your cpu’s, tv’s, printers, faxes, cell phones etc, on Apr. 21 between 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.to the Norwood Academy Germantown campus parking lot at 8991 Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill and all will be responsibly reused or dismantled instead of being thrown in a landfill.
