Lower Southampton
Township is excited to announce they will be holding a FREE Electronic Collection
Event on Saturday, October 20, 2012. The event will take place from 9 a.m.
until 1 p.m. at the Lower Southampton
Township Municipal Building conveniently located on 1500
Desire Ave. Residents are
encouraged to bring their obsolete computers, CRT monitors, cameras, cell
phones, fax machines, scanners, printers, TV’s, computer mice, wires and
keyboards. Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also encouraged to
participate. This event is being sponsored with the generous help of Freedom Credit
Union with branch offices located in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia
Counties.
All
material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who
maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to
developing countries. eForce is Pennsylvania’s only multi-certified electronic
recycling company (R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will
be destroyed or wiped at their facility.
