Whole Foods Market Offers Free Electronic Waste Collection Events in Seven Area Stores

Whole Foods Market, in partnership with eForce Compliance, is offering a FREE “anything with a plug” recycling event to be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at seven area stores. The stores involved in this environmentally friendly event are Wynnewood, North Wales, Plymouth Meeting, Jenkintown, Callowhill Street and South Street.

All types of electronics will be accepted for FREE including computers, monitors, printers, air-conditioners, computer accessories and household appliances. Small businesses with less than 50 employees may also participate. All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries.  eForce is Pennsylvania’s only multi-certified electronic recycling company (R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will be destroyed or wiped at their facility.
