Cheltenham Township to Hold Electronic Collection Event November 17, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Cheltenham Township is excited to announce they will be holding an Electronic Collection Event on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Cheltenham High School located on 500 Rices Mill Road in Wyncote. The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and residents are encouraged to bring "anything with a plug."

All household electronics including computers, printers, microwaves, air-conditioners, metals and small appliances will be accepted. Now is a great time to responsibly recycle any unwanted electronic devices hanging around the house. Small business owners with less than 50 employees are also eligible to participate.

All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries. eForce is Pennsylvania’s first multi-certified electronic recycling company (R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will be destroyed or wiped at their facility.
